There is evidence to support the theory that the mitragyna stem and vein contains different alkaloid profiles and that these “secondary” alkaloids have promising applications. Work needs to be done to investigate if this plant material has potential for harm reduction, tolerance modification and perhaps even as a viable NMDA antagonist. Plants containing similar oxindoles are already being used in patients with anxiety and hypertention. While this website is only a source for raw materials and no claims or recommendations are being made it is our hope that more research be done on these secondary alkaloids. This is sourced from another vendor who obtains these stems from a strain of Indonesian Mitragyna leaf. Before grinding this to an extremely fine powder I have inspected it and it is not merely the scrap or waste of the grinding process but is instead 100% pure inner leaf vein. Half of what I obtained is offered here in a finely powdered form and the other half is being used to extract and purify the alkaloids.
This is available in units of 25 gm.
